Chotpoti and Fuchka , The most popular Street Food in Bangladesh
Nothing may be additional fashionable in East Pakistan than chotpoti and fuchka!!! Be it winter or summer. uninteresting or bright day , whether or not you're in sensible or dangerous mood , it's chotpoti and fuchka that creates your day !! 😀
Chotpoti:
Part A :
1 and one/2 cup of white vatana or white peas , soaked in water long with 1/2 tea spoon bicarbonate
Part B:
1 tbl spoon – one and one/2 tbl spoon Chat Masala
1 and one/2 tea spoon dry cooked cumin powder ( bhaja jeera gura )
1 tea spoon coarsly grounded gently cooked whole coriander powder ( asto dhonia gura )
3/4 or around a pair of tea spoon dry cooked dry red flavoring ( you'll be able to add additional , reckoning on your taste)
1 tea spoon halite ( bit lobon)
Salt to style
Part C:
Boiled a pair of potatoes, cut in tiny cubes
2 cooked eggs , cut in tiny cubes
Onion cut
Mint cut
green chilies cut
Cucumber cut
Crushed Fuchka shell or something fresh
Tamarind water or tetuler tok
For tamarind water , soak the tamarind in water . Then confiscate the starch from it . Add dry cooked cumin powder , salt , dry cooked dry red flavoring, very little sugar or sugar , cut cilantro .
Procedure:
1. Soak the chotpoti daal in water long with bicarbonate . bicarbonate helps to melt daal simply . Bt if you've got sensible quality daal , you'll be able to skip that half . however don’t forget to soak in water .This is should . Wash the daal cery well .
2. Boil the daal till creamy, very little mushy . If your daal isn't creamy , chotpoti won’t style higher . Not solely cooked , you would like to own the thickness and starch popping out from daal . Don’t add salt at now because it prevents the daal to be cooked properly .
